Very dependable ,fair pricing ! will consider Larry for future projects too ...

J.C.
Positive, quick response, and followed through with what was promised

K.H.
Larry was prompt and work was done as scheduled. His pricing is fair. We got wooden blinds done in our home except 2 guest beds where we got faux. We are not happy with this because there is a gap at the top that allows light to come in. Apparentl

How do your blinds compare to name brands like Hunter Douglas, Levolor, Graber, and Bali?

The quality of the All About Blinds brand is comparable to the top name brands. Our fabricators use the exact same components the name brands use. Most the materials in our products are obtained from Levolor, Graber, Hunter Douglas, or Hunter Douglas-owned companies. We are very selective with the products we put our name on and we set very high standards for all our fabricators. In addition the guarantee and warranty we provide exceeds those offered by most name brands. We not only offer a limited lifetime warranty on virtually everything we sell but we are so certain that you will love our products that we guarantee your satisfaction!

What is the routless option? How much does it cost?

How much does it cost? Routless blinds are made without route holes in the slats (also called "privacy" blinds). Standard blinds have small holes in the slats for the ladder strings. Routless blinds have small notches in the back side of each slat which replace the route holes. This option is an extra 20% on all wood, composite wood, and faux wood blinds.

Why do you recommend that some blinds be made as two or three blinds on one headrail?

With most wood and faux wood blinds there are size limitations due to weight. If the blind is too large it will be difficult to operate and will also put stress on the hardware mechanisms. We recommend splitting very large wood and faux wood blinds (over 48 square feet) on wood blinds, and (36 square feet on composite and faux wood) into two or three blinds on one headrail. If it is recommended that your blind be split you can still choose to have it manufactured as one single blind, however, it will void the manufacturer's warranty.

9.

What do you mean by inside and outside mount?

This refers to the way in which the treatment will be hung, either inside or outside the window opening. Inside mounts are mounted inside the window opening that is recessed from the wall. Outside mounts hang outside the window opening either on the wood frame or above and beyond the wood frame. Inside mount is probably the most common way to hang blinds today and provides a nice, clean look. Outside mount are great for doors or for windows with a very shallow windowsill depth. Outside mount can also be used to make a window appear larger or to hide an unattractive window.

I want to order 3 blinds on 1 headrail but my center window is wider than my left and right windows. How do I order this? Also how do I specify the controls I want for each blind?

Order the overall width then specify the widths for each (ex: left=24"; center=48"; right=24") in the notes section of your order. The 3 widths together must total the overall width ordered (do not make any deductions). You can also specify the controls for each blind in the notes section.
